HeLP has the ability to
allow a pet to be transferred. Only a rescue, shelter or vet can
access this feature.
You can use this feature
to:
1) Transfer a pet from one foster home to another.
This be a transfer would be a transfer to another member of your organization.
2) Transfer a pet to their adoptive home. In this case,
it needs to be someone you are connected to.

To Start:
Click the Pets
Button.
Next, click the My Pets
button. |

Pets that you are
fostering or are available for adoption are listed under the
organizations tab. If you are a member of an organization that
is a pet rescue, a shelter or a veterinarian, you can set the
pet as a foster for that organization. You may be a member of
multiple organizations that allow foster pets. Click on the tab
for the organization you wish to view. |

The next step is to select
the pet you wish to transfer by clicking on the grey bar.
Next, click on the Edit
button. |

From the Edit Screen, you
can change any information about the pet you wish.
1) Be sure to
remove your email from the Contact Information. The adopter will
put their own contact information in there after the transfer.
2) Once you are ready,
click the Transfer Button. |

This screen allows you to
change the status to Safe if this pet has been adopted.
Other change the status to
Foster or Available for Adoption.
Next, click on the person
you wish to transfer the pet to and then click the Transfer
button.
Once transferred you will
no longer be able to access this pets record. |

This pet has now been
transferred. If the pet was transferred to an adopter then this
pets record will show your organization as the Adopted From
organization. The adoptor can remove this if they so choose.
The adoptor can also delete the pet record if they choose.
But while the record is on
HeLP, if the pet ever is reported lost, then and automatic email
will be sent to everyone attached to that organiation.
