1. The contest is open to all pet rescues and shelters that are listed on HeLP
and that have at least 1 pet available for adoption listed on the website (www.helpinglostpets.com).
The rescue/shelter must be based in either Canada or the United States.
2. The contest period begins on Sun. May.
20, 2012 12:01 am EST and ends on Mon. Jun. 18, 2012 11:59 pm EST.
3. Rescues/Shelters that join the website during the contest period are eligible to win.
4. Only rescues/shelters that have adoptable pets will be available to receive a vote on any given day during the contest period. If a rescue/shelter does not have pets they will not be available to be voted for. The pets for adoption are determined each time the contest page is loaded.
5. Only registered members of Helping Lost Pets are eligible to vote. People can register to join the site at any time. Only one account is allowed per person.

6. Each member can vote only once per calendar day.
Bonus votes may be awarded to members that have
set their map location and are receiving email
alerts for missing and found pets.
7. The winner of the contest will have recorded
the most votes during the contest period.
In the event, two or more rescues/shelters have
the same number of votes, the winner will be
chosen by a random draw.
8. There are multiple prizes that could be
won by a rescue/shelter. Each pledge or
prize has a condition that must be met in order
to win the prize. The owner/operator of the website
Goddard Information Systems Limited. (GISL)
is not responsible to ensure that pledges
made by other individuals or businesses are
actually transferred to the rescue/shelter.
We will do our utmost to ensure the pledges won
are transferred, however, we are not responsible
if a person/business does not fulfil their
pledge.
9. At the close of the contest, GISL will
contact each person/business that has made a
pledge and advise them if their pledge was won.
We will contact each rescue/shelter that won the
pledge also.
10. GISL reserves the right to determine the final eligibility of the winning organizations after examining and auditing the votes. GISL reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any votes that appear to be created by an automated system, duplicated or appear to be fraudulent in any way.
11. GISL and HeLP are not responsible for any inability to vote or participate in the contest due to computer issues, connectivity issues, problems with the website or for any other reason.

13. The final determination of the winners in the contest is the sole discretion of GISL.
